The sounds of South Africa wrapped up in American cross culture, is a total success for the long awaited second CD of Christian Absolom. He has been working on his latest CD for the last ten months to complete it. The CD “Abundantly Satisfied” takes on a whole new meaning. It takes you on a journey through the valley of the dry bones in Ezekiel 37. “Prophesy To The Bones,” a song full of sadness and despair, of the fallen army of Israel, to the jubilation of the sounds of the rattling of the bones, and the coming togetherness of a mighty army before the Lord. There is a whole lot of shaking going on, as broken lives are put together and His church is being set free.
The Lord is calling Christian Absolom and the body of Christ for a major shifting in Christianity. Where complacency rules, and the lack of righteousness, wholeness and justice no longer is a part of the church. People are afraid to stand up for Jesus Christ and who He is. Jesus said to the woman at the well, if you only new the gift of God and who it is that ask you for a drink. You would have asked Him, and He would have given you Living Water. Just like the woman at the well let us yearn and ask the Lord to give us the Living Water so that we might never thirst again.
This CD speaks of the Abundance of God’s love for all man kind. It speaks of a repented heart; it speaks of a heart that is set upon the Lord for only He can plug our feet out from the snare of the enemy. It talks about gladness to go to house of the Lord. When last did you say, I was glad when they said let us to go the house of the Lord. There is earnestness in his spirit to get this message out to the masses in this global village that we live in. A global village full of living dry bones without the Spirit of God. The powerful song “Behold I Come” speaks of God’s refusal to accept the sacrifices of sin and burnt offerings. He wants sacrifices of a broken spirit and a contrite heart.
Christian Absolom is known for his African rhythms in his music and not only did he delivered a powerful message of God’s forgiveness with the song “Thank The Lord” but he also gives us a sense of what is to come on judgment day with the song, “The Kingdom Of Heaven” a music piece of African jive and American jazz fused together makes the listener wants for more of “Absolute Absolom.” Christian’s goal is to go beyond the confines of the gospel market and be in this world but not of it. He hopes that a song like “Love Wont Treat You Bad” will be played on every radio station in the world. He also hopes that everyone listening to this CD will find that healing and inner peace with God, through the ministering of the Lord as He prophesies and breathe life into the whole body of the church.
Make sure you take some time to see him in a city near you. This will be the best experience you’ve ever had in a gospel setting.
